BROCCOLI AND SESAME QUINOA SALAD

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp. (10 mL) sesame seeds
  • 1 can 3.5 oz. (106 mL) Bonduelle Mini Cans QUINOA
  • 1 cup (250 mL) broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) julienned vegetables of your choice (broccoli stalks, peppers and/or carrots)
  • 1 tsp. (5 mL) toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tsp. (5 mL) soy sauce
  • 2 tsp. (10 mL) rice vinegar
  • 1 small clove garlic, finely chopped

Method

  1. In a small skillet over medium heat, toast sesame seeds, stirring frequently.

  3. Pour quinoa into a bowl.
  4. Add remaining ingredients, stir, season to taste and serve.
